Favourite sport: Running – Olivia ran cross country and track with the University of Ottawa and Sheridan College. She also enjoys strength and conditioning, yoga and Spikeball
Favourite pastimes: Gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends
Fun Fact: In the springtime, you can find Olivia and her partner in their sugar shack making homemade maple syrup!
Olivia completed a degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa where she first found out about Athletic Therapy. She fell in love with the profession and decided to pursue AT at Sheridan College in Brampton. Olivia has had the chance to work with multiple teams both in the clinic and on the field. Some of the sports she has worked with include hockey, football, soccer, basketball, track and field, rugby, swimming, figure skating, and more.
She has had the pleasure of working among elite therapy teams including the CFL Ottawa Redblacks, University of Guelph and University of Ottawa varsity programs. She has also helped individuals of all ages attain their personal health and fitness goals as a running coach, strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer. She is a Red Cross First Responder, where you can find her providing emergency medical coverage at various sporting events across the city. Originally from Orleans, she is fully bilingual and is happy to offer services in both French and English.
Olivia is passionate about working with kids and teenagers. She strives to help each patient reach their unique goals, whether it be running around the playground or elite level sport. A typical treatment consists of a variety of manual therapy techniques, exercise, and patient education to fit every individual and their family’s lifestyle. She believes in the importance of building a strong foundation from a young age in order to stay healthy and active for life.
