The Serious Stuff
Teagan is a Physiotherapy Resident who uses a family centered, fun and engaging approach to her practice. She obtained her Bachelors of Kinesiology with Honors from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. While there, she completed her thesis project which looked into the feasibility of using a physical literacy protocol for children with Down syndrome, Autism spectrum disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder and global developmental delay. It was through this project that she found her passion for working in pediatrics.
She then completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa where she gained experience in a multitude of settings including acute care, outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics and brain injury rehabilitation in both English and French.
Teagan looks forward to working with children of all ages through manual therapy, exercises and play!
