The Serious Stuff

Natalie Sadek is an enthusiastic and compassionate Resident Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Ottawa. She is a former national-level rhythmic gymnast and coached gymnastics from her teenage years through to the start of physiotherapy school. This background gives her a strong understanding of movement, coordination, and body awareness, which she brings into her work with children.

Natalie has always had a special interest in pediatric physiotherapy, including the management of torticollis, toe walking, primitive reflexes, cerebral palsy, ADHD, developmental delays, orthopedic injuries, and more!

She completed two pediatric placements during her training, including one at Play On Pediatric Therapy, where she gained hands-on experience working with a wide range of children and families. During this placement, she designed and implemented a Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) summer camp for children with cerebral palsy, creating fun, play-based activities. She has also completed Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Level A training, further supporting her ability to work with children with developmental and neurological needs.

Known for her playful, curious, and energetic approach, Natalie strives to make therapy engaging while remaining grounded in evidence-based care. She is passionate about helping children build confidence through movement and strongly believes in seeing each child as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, while fostering meaningful connections with both the child and their family.

Natalie provides services in English, French and Arabic (Egyptian).
