The Serious Stuff

Katya is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, where she completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology.
Katya has spent many years working with children of all ages through her previous roles as a swim instructor, after-school program and daycare supply educator, camp counsellor, and tutor. These experiences, along with her occupational therapy placement at Play On Pediatric Therapy, have strengthened Katya’s passion for supporting children’s growth and helping them learn new skills, navigate challenges, and participate in meaningful activities.
Katya is dedicated to providing family-centered and  individualized care that reflects the unique needs and goals of each child and family. She takes the time to get to know each child as a whole, building on their strengths, interests, and abilities to help them feel confident and supported in participating in the everyday activities that matter most to them.
