Kimberley grew up in Newfoundland and moved to Ottawa in 2015. She was involved in children’s programming with Girl Guides of Canada and other community networks and she volunteered many hours at her children’s schools either with the breakfast program, photocopying or chaperoning various school trips. A proud Founding Member of Qalipu Mi’kmaq First Nation, she is dabbling in beading and explores this side of her identity by attending powwows and learning new skills whenever she can.
Miss Kim has worked in a pediatric clinic setting for 5 years and enjoys getting to know the children and making a personal connection through conversation.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching short track speed skating, attending concerts and live theatre, dancing, and stepping outside her comfort zone by trying new things.
